Megyn Kelly leaves FOX, joins NBC
Some said the writing was on the wall from the first time she clashed with then candidate Donald Trump at the first 2016 Campaign Presidential debate, but now it’s official. Megyn Kelly is done at FOX and headed over to rival NBC.
The move for Kelly is both an affirmation and a test. Her new gig will include both a daytime show and a Sunday news magazine program. The latter format will be somewhat closer to her former nightly news program, but neither of the new gigs will have the constraints – or the built-in audience of her former FOX show.

Veterans Affairs management is evolving - but for the better?
If there’s been a worse example of a management crisis over the past few years, it’s tough to think of one that got worse press than the mess at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The agency helps at least nine million veterans at more than 1,700 locations … but the time it took to get services created a host of issues for both administrators and the veterans they sought to serve. Investigations were conducted and most concluded the major issue could be blamed on inept or sloppy middle management. There was a serious leadership problem at the VA, and there didn’t seem to be anyone willing to take responsibility for the mess and get it cleaned up and working properly.

Is Megyn Kelly officially the new face at FOX?
No matter what happens in the election on November 8, the odds are there will be big changes at Fox News. Perhaps no network has both exemplified and suffered from the divide in the GOP and its base during this election season than the network that has been pro-Republican for decades.

Vince Neil guilty of battery
Throughout the 80s, during the heyday of Hair Metal, no band defined hard rock excess quite like Motley Crue. The band was notorious on the road for drug-fueled debauchery and headline-grabbing shenanigans. Sometimes, they went a bit too far.

Netflix CEO weighs in on POTUS race
Many prominent business people and CEOs have come out in support of one or the other major party presidential candidates. Some use it for their own PR, others are used by news agencies for the recognition their names bring to headlines. Some, like Apple’s Tim Cook or Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, may be doing a bit of both.

Lester Holt puts NBC in the spotlight
These days, the battle for “eyes on” your content is fragmented so much that even the traditional Big Three Networks are desperate for ratings to control the narrative and satisfy their advertisers. In a 24-7 news consumer culture, the networks and their personalities are becoming as much a part of the story as the candidates themselves.
Feldman marching ahead after rough Today Show appearance
He was the darling child actor in the early 80s who became part of a duo of Teen Beat heartthrobs in the late 80s and early 90s … but a recent appearance on The Today Show has many people wondering “what happened to Corey Feldman.”

Self-driving semis? It’s happening
Self-driving semi trucks. Tons of trucks laden with tons of cargo barreling down the road with nothing but a computer behind the wheel. Is it a terrifying science fiction nightmare or the most obvious technological advancement in decades? Driverless car entrepreneurs are betting on the latter.

Brexit's Possible Impact on the Housing Market Overseas
It wasn't only the population of Europe sent into a tizzy over Britain's referendum: Real-estate shoppers have found themselves in unfamiliar territory as well, often wondering if they're taking full advantage of the new future of what was once one of our largest trading partners, the E.U.

Russian Jet Battles Boeing
When you think of battles between Russian and American jets, the images called to mind are dogfights between F-Class and MiG series jets above the skies of countless countries and on just about every movie screen in the 1980s. But, while the two countries still have frosty diplomatic relations at times, the Cold War is largely over, and those days are fast becoming history.
