Megyn Kelly leaves FOX, joins NBC

Megyn Kelly leaves FOX, joins NBC

Some said the writing was on the wall from the first time she clashed with then candidate Donald Trump at the first 2016 Campaign Presidential debate, but now it’s official. Megyn Kelly is done at FOX and headed over to rival NBC.

The move for Kelly is both an affirmation and a test. Her new gig will include both a daytime show and a Sunday news magazine program. The latter format will be somewhat closer to her former nightly news program, but neither of the new gigs will have the constraints – or the built-in audience of her former FOX show.

Veterans Affairs management is evolving - but for the better?

If there’s been a worse example of a management crisis over the past few years, it’s tough to think of one that got worse press than the mess at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Investigations were conducted and most concluded the major issue could be blamed on inept or sloppy middle management. There was a serious leadership problem at the VA, and there didn’t seem to be anyone willing to take responsibility for the mess and get it cleaned up and working properly.

Hatchimals make for the “it” toy this season

There’s no doubt, aside from the hard to find NES Classic Edition, the “must have” toy of this holiday season had to be Hatchimals. If you don’t have kids or yours are some of the few who haven’t been begging for them for months, picture a friendlier version of a Furby hatching out of a giant bird’s egg.

Simpsons continues to describe and define culture - for 30 years and counting

Were you there in the beginning? When a sketch short from a long-defunct comedy show became an American institution? Fox recently announced it would be renewing The Simpsons for a record 29th and 30th seasons. Homer, Bart and all the yellow-hued denizens of fictional Springfield will reach at least episode 669, making it far and away the longest-running weekly episodic program, outpacing even Gunsmoke, which ran 635 before the Marshal fired his final shot.

Is Megyn Kelly officially the new face at FOX?

Is Megyn Kelly officially the new face at FOX?

No matter what happens in the election on November 8, the odds are there will be big changes at Fox News. Perhaps no network has both exemplified and suffered from the divide in the GOP and its base during this election season than the network that has been pro-Republican for decades.

How to Ignite Any Audience

 Elie Hirschfeld - Ignite
One of the most important aspects of any leadership position is effective public speaking. Whether you address your team in one office or thousands at a conference, you need to actively engage your audience, hold their attention, and deliver your message. There is not one single strategy for doing this. There are many different angles and elements you must master to become an effective speaker.
